Prudential Celebrates SG60 with $880,000 Community Investment and New Office

Prudential Singapore has announced a $880,000 community investment to celebrate Singapore’s 60th birthday and its recent move to Labrador Tower. The initiative aims to support local families and strengthen community ties near its new office.

At a recent event, Prudential revealed plans to distribute household essentials hampers to over 1,100 ComLink+ families living close to Labrador Tower.

The company will also donate to the Prudential Longevity Pledge, supporting KidSTART families through fresh food programs. Additionally, Prudential will establish community edible gardens later this year to foster neighborhood connections.

Chan San San, CEO of Prudential Singapore, said, “With over 90 years in Singapore, we have a strong bond with the country. As we celebrate SG60 and settle into Labrador Tower, we want to invest in the wellbeing of our community.”

Bringing Teams Together at Labrador Tower

In May 2025, Prudential completed its move to Labrador Tower, occupying more than 170,000 square feet. The space combines corporate offices and agency floors under one roof, including a shared floor designed to encourage collaboration between its 1,200 corporate staff and 5,400 financial representatives.

Chan added, “Uniting our teams in one location will boost collaboration and knowledge sharing, helping us serve customers better.”

Prudential also maintains strong bancassurance partnerships with United Overseas Bank (UOB) and Standard Chartered, celebrating 15 and 25 years of collaboration respectively. Together with Prudential Financial Advisers Singapore, they serve over one million customers.

The new office supports hybrid work with diverse spaces such as libraries, meeting rooms, and phone booths, promoting flexible and effective teamwork.

Details of the $880,000 Community Investment

Household Essentials Hampers: Volunteers will distribute hampers containing soap, dishwashing liquid, and other hygiene products to over 1,100 ComLink+ families near Labrador Tower.

Prudential Longevity Pledge Donation: Funds will support fresh food programs for KidSTART families.

Community Edible Gardens: Planned for later this year to encourage community bonding.

Prudential’s investment reflects its commitment to building a resilient and inclusive Singapore, aligned with the SG60 theme, “Building Our Singapore Together.”
