Starbucks is hiring two “Global Coffee Creators” to travel the world and showcase its coffee culture. One position is open to internal candidates, and the other to external applicants. The role pays between $80,100 and $136,000 annually and lasts for 12 months.
The job involves visiting at least 10 Starbucks locations worldwide to capture the unique vibes, culture, and people behind each store. Candidates must be social media savvy, especially skilled in creating and editing videos for platforms like TikTok. Applicants need to submit a TikTok video with the hashtag #StarbucksGlobalCoffeeCreator to apply.
This remote position requires travel, a valid passport, U.S. residency, and a minimum age of 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent. Starbucks emphasizes a passion for coffee and travel in its ideal candidate.
The move aligns with the growing influencer marketing trend. The global influencer market grew from $21 billion in 2023 to $32.5 billion in 2025. Starbucks aims to connect with younger audiences who trust social media influencers.
Earlier this year, Starbucks announced layoffs of 1,100 corporate employees as part of restructuring efforts. CEO Brian Niccol said the company is simplifying its structure to operate more efficiently and focus on priorities.
This new role reflects Starbucks’ effort to innovate in marketing while maintaining its global coffee presence.
